Even at the risk of sounding callous: these people must have been so ridiculous in life.

Speaking from experience, it’s amazing what you’ll do to remember someone, no matter how ridiculous it may seem to some people. I’m sure it makes perfect sense to the people who miss the ones they’ve lost.

I rather like the unique graves presented. It’s better to be interesting than be just like everyone else.

Just a guy (21:01:19) :
Most of those graves were of very young children. The graves are reminders from and to the living. What you see as ridiculous has deep meaning for someone who lost that person.
@ Alice, callous? not really.
Perhaps a little more understanding and empathy though.

(1) Sad to see so many children…always sad when any child dies.
(2) This might sound cold…but when I saw the one for the electrician, my first thought was “Gee, I hope he didn’t electrocute himself.”
(3) While some of these are really neat…I think I’d probably come back and haunt people if they cluttered up my grave with so much stuff. Geez louise, looks like they were going for the idea of burying all the dead’s belongings with them, they just missed the “burying” idea.
So many young deaths. =[
