is it really necessary to have titanic libraries like that, i mean common.
redicolous and a waste of money.

It’s not a waste. It’s beautiful and inspiring. Those books are the basis of a lot of what is written today, and the library is used often. Even if every one of those books were put into an internet database, I’d still want them there. They are precious.

waste of money!! books contain a wealth of knowledge, do u consider knowledge a waste? i wud absolutley LOVE to go to this library, i wud quite happily live there

That’s not one just library. The pictures are from tons of different libraries. The pictures are from the book “Libraries” by Candida Hofer and Umberto Eco.
