It’s not a waste. It’s beautiful and inspiring. Those books are the basis of a lot of what is written today, and the library is used often. Even if every one of those books were put into an internet database, I’d still want them there. They are precious.

That’s not one just library. The pictures are from tons of different libraries. The pictures are from the book “Libraries” by Candida Hofer and Umberto Eco.

U know, I do research at the LoC and I think its Amazing. They bring your books for you, although it takes 2 hoers sometimes, but they do. I love, especially, the Manuscript Division, which not many people know of. Its where I do most of my research.
LC is a great place to be. Its NOT fun, but soothing and quite. :)
U should try to visit if anybody ever makes it to my great city Washington DC, the Capital of the World ( in my opinion).

I think the library looks amazing and spectacular. Out of all the things in the world that is a waste of money–welfare being one of them–this has to be the most non waste of money. It is just amazing. I would love to just visit the library and roam up and down the hallway. Gazing at every book. Writing is a beautiful art.
