Some people just might think treating cats anthropomorphically is silly, regardless of whether the individual is black or white. How do you know what the race of the people who are commenting is in the first place? Critical thought and questioning is important but one really needs to learn how and when to ask the RIGHT questions. In this case, while racism is an extremely important issue facing our culture toy, I believe your sentiment was inappropriate in this example. In fact, bringing race into this actually just breeds further racial issues and prejudices and this is no good to anyone. Anyway, I shall step off my soap box now.
