Russian highway
26 09 2007This Russian Federal Highway runs from Moscow to Yakutsk City in Siberia. The road doesn’t have an asphalt surface, although it is a vital highway. Every time it rains the road is paralyzed. These shots were taken a few days before approximately 600 vehicles became stuck there.
So, the next time you’re about to whine about conditions in your home country, think of the Russians!

In Soviet Russia, highway drive you.
See, this is what happens when people vote against extra taxes for highway funding!
Back to the Putin’s future
reminds me of the tv series Long way round with Ewan McGregor & Charley Boorman.
And we were scared of them?
Its only a part of the road, Siberian part.
In Siberia the road is frozen most of the year
Complain about that? Me with my 8″ lift and 38s” NO WAY! Now If I can just talk my boss into moving me to Russia so I can live cheaper with the same pay and enjoy the mud. Naw actually Alaska’s way better.
They can build nuclear missles that can make it to the US…But cant build a road to get from town to town? *confused*
haha, they managed to send the first artifical satellite into space, yet they have highways made of dirt. lol i dont get it.
Forget asphalt, this needs re-enforced concrete!!!
if the mud is frozen solid for 8 months out of the year think about how much it would cost to re surface the road every summer.
And i thinked we have badest roads in our administrative district…. XD
