Olympia the tallest snowwoman
5 03 2008Olympia lives in Bethel Village (Maine), it’s said to be about 122 feet tall and weights 13,000,000 lbs. of snow.
Olympia’s creators say she has eyelashes made from skis and bright red lips crafted from painted tires. She wears a giant pink hat and gets some bling from a snowflake pendant that’s more than six feet in diameter. Her arms were created from pine trees.
I can’t believe they cut two trees for this! Well, it’s still sweet!

It’s not really a snowman. It’s more of a mound of snow.
A snowman has to follow certain aesthetic considerations, primarily three spherical balls stacked on top of each other, with the largest sphere on the bottom and the smallest sphere on the top.
