Art For the Sky is a unique, large group, team building activity for schools, special events, festivals and corporations that dissolves boundaries that often exit in our daily lives and awakens our ability to see that elusive Big Picture. Daniel Dancer became fascinated with sky art while traveling in South America in the 80′s and encountering the famous Nazca Lines of Peru. On his return he began working with Kansas field artist, Stan Herd, who creates giant images on the Earth by using a tractor as a paint brush and crops for color. Daniel decided later to bring an entire elementary school out to perform. The result was stunning.

Kandovan is a tourist village in the province of East Azarbaijan, Iran. Its fame is due to its troglodyte dwellings, some of the houses are at least 700 years old and are still inhabited. A popular resort, it offers hotels and restaurants to serve tourists. Its mineral water is also popular with visitors and is believed to be a cure for kidney disease. The word “Kandovan” is a plural form for “kando” means bee nest.

At 21 years old, Lizzie weighs only 56 pounds (25 kg), she has almost 0% body fat and has never weighed more than 60.2 pounds (27.3 kg).

Do you remember Candyland, the racing board game? Kan Dee Corner made it come to life in her own garden with the help of her friends and neighbors. She created 7 little micro-gardens in the area, each of them matches the board game. They have a theme, smell, color and, where it was possible, a taste made with interspersing herbs (lemon balm in the yellow garden), Licorice in the purple one, etc.

Students Christian Zwick and Konstantin Jerabek from University of Karlsruhe won a design competition with the experimental house design Roll It. The structure consists of an outer shell that is composed of four support rings, a torsion inner shell membrane as well as a covering. Two movable furniture roll within the solid bowl, and can be positioned differently through the middle wheel, allowing for different functions

Len Moore thought about building the Redhouse Log House after he found shelter in the trunk of a burned down Redwood tree, during a storm. He spent months chiseling out the interior and over a year to build it.
