The Jabuticaba, also called The Brazilian Grape Tree, is a fruit-bearing tree native to Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. The fruits that grow directly on the tree’s bark are purplish black, with a white pulp. They can be eaten raw or be used to make jellies and drinks.

A triumphal arch is a structure in the shape of a monumental archway, in theory built to celebrate a victory in war, but often used to celebrate a ruler and you can find them all over the world.

Hwacheon County is home to an ice fishing festival in which thousands of competitors try to catch as many wild trouts as possible. This takes place during the entire month of January. The festival organizers claim there are roughly 1,000,000 visitors annually.
