Hope was born with only two legs and she has small wriggling nubs where her front legs should be. She used to move around by hopping, but experts said that eventually would damage her bones and spine. The wheeled device was created by David Turnbill free of charge. Each of the “arms” can move up or down independently of the other, allowing Hope to pivot and turn.
A cast was made in order to build the prosthetic device, but when she will grow bigger she will need to have another device made for her.

Update: The cat’s name is Muschi (German for cat) and the bear is called Mauschen (German for mice). You can read their story on Animal Liberation Front. (Thanks Jan!)

Thailand’s Tiger Temple is the place where you can meet some friendly tigers… or that’s what they say. I’m sure you saw the documentary on Animal Planet, but I’m not sure if you saw the reports about animal cruelty.

We have needs, we play, we love, we get bored or scared and we have friends, so, please, don’t consider us just “dinner”.
